Lexis Nemea is the flagship of Zacharias Winery. It comes from the Tsidari vineyard, in Acropolis of Ancient Fliounda, from 50 years old vines. The very low yields and limited production bring, as a result, the complexity of Lexis Nemea. It has a deep ruby color with gray highlights, complex on the nose with aromas of ripe reds and black fruits, notes of oak, vanilla and sweets spices. In the mouth full, with roundness, almost velvety tannins. Aromas of sour cherry, jam black cherry, coffee and vanilla. Long, vanilla aftertaste, accompanied by sweet spices. Aging ability is 8 to 10 years. Pairs with: Game, red meats with sweet and sour & spicy sauces, pork with plums, aged yellow cheeses.

Agiorgitiko is the quiet power grape of the Greek vineyard and of yet unexplored potential. It is not only the PDO grape of Nemea, the largest region with such status but has the fame that spreads throughout Greece and so does its cultivation. It is also the most marketed grape domestically, to the extent that one can find agents selling wines of Nemea anywhere in Greece, even in the heart of other dedicated wine-producing regions. It performs well in hot climates and gives a variety of styles. Thick-skinned of variable size, depending on the clone and with around 8 clones available commercially today. It is potentially high yielding, late budding and late ripening.

Zacharias is one of Nemea's oldest and largest private wineries, with roots going back to 1960 and vineyard plantings from 1962; the modern winery itself was established by agronomist Ilias Zacharias in the 1970s, drawing on French winemaking know-how. The family farms around 40 hectares across Nemea and Mantinia, working with thirteen grape varieties including Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Roditis, Kydonitsa and the rare Sklava alongside Mavrodaphne and international varieties, and is now in its second generation. Lexis is the winery's flagship range, sourced from the family's oldest vines at the foot of the citadel of ancient Fliounta.
