Agiorgitiko & Moschofilero
Agiorgitiko is the red grape at the heart of Nemea in the Peloponnese. Its generous red fruit and typically supple tannins make it appealing in youthful reds, while more structured examples can develop well with ageing. It is also used for fresh rosés and concentrated sweet wines.
Moschofilero is an aromatic, pink-skinned Greek grape strongly associated with the Mantinia plateau in the Peloponnese. It commonly produces fragrant white wines with citrus and rose-petal notes, lightness and refreshing acidity. It also lends its floral character to rosés and sparkling wines.
