Description
Bright lemon colour. Nose of white flowers, lemon, lemon zest and rose. The palate is richly expressive of citrus flavours, nectarine flesh and melon with subtle sweet notes. Medium and well balanced body complimented by high acidity. Medium to medium plus finish. Best paired with salads, grilled fish, white, un matured cheese and fruits. Best served at 9-10 ⁰C.

Anyone in pursuit of a Greek grape variety which promises refreshment and enlivenment, all the while offering exoticism unprecedented in a Mediterranean country, should look no further than Moschofilero: it automatically springs to mind. Just as “moscho”, the first part of its name, promises this charismatic grape is the most aromatic one of the fileri grape family. Despite the reddish or grayish hue of its berries it is mostly used for the production of dry whites and some sparkling wines.
Producer
The story of Sellas Winery begins in the 1950’s,when the grandfather of the family starts cultivating the first vineyards in the region of Nemea, in the Peloponnese, Greece. Ever since, the family has been actively engaged in vineyard cultivation and wine production. In 2000, the founder’s son, Athanasios Sellas, decides to create his own winery based on the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art wine production methods and equipment.
