It is the first natural wine produced by Agiorgitiko without any interference (absolutely).

Agiorgitiko
Agiorgitiko is the quiet power grape of the Greek vineyard and of yet unexplored potential. It is not only the PDO grape of Nemea, the largest region with such status but has the fame that spreads throughout Greece and so does its cultivation. It is also the most marketed grape domestically, to the extent that one can find agents selling wines of Nemea anywhere in Greece, even in the heart of other dedicated wine-producing regions. It performs well in hot climates and gives a variety of styles. Thick-skinned of variable size, depending on the clone and with around 8 clones available commercially today. It is potentially high yielding, late budding and late ripening.
Producer
The Athanasiou family has farmed vines in Nemea since 1855, when Michalis Athanasiou's great-grandfather first planted half a hectare of Agiorgitiko. The current, modern winery dates only to 2007, when Michalis took the estate in a more experimental direction — spending eight years developing what is considered the region's first low-intervention PDO Nemea, and later Nemea's first traditional-method sparkling wine, both built entirely around the indigenous Agiorgitiko grape. Alongside Agiorgitiko, the estate also grows Assyrtiko and Moschofilero. Its most experimental cuvée, Fysis, comes from a single old-vine plot at 350m in Achladia and is made with zero intervention and no added sulphites, released in only a few thousand bottles a year.
