A unique and powerful mavrodaphne wine. Aged for 3 months in French oak barrels and hand-turned amphorae. Unfiltered. The typical aromas are present with red berries and laurel aromas combined with pepper, rosemary, cinnamon, coffee and cocoa. It is a full-bodied wine with a strong structure and a long aftertaste. Excellent company to roast meat and birds game dishes, as well as spicy pasta sauces, dishes with aubergine, and strongly favoured cheeses.

Mavrodaphne
Mavrodaphne, meaning black laurel in Greek, is indigenous to Achaea region in Northern Peloponnese. It produces almost opaque, dark coloured red wines and represents flavours of caramel, chocolate, coffee, raisins and plums.
