DESCRIPTION

Light yellow colour, with its base unique standing out it, is a bottle for high-quality wines. When you smell it, you can easily descry citrus fruits and bergamot scents, with a nice jasmine feeling and herbal characteristics(yarrow, wild herbal). In the end, it leaves you with the scent of green apple and lime. It is a wine for those who can wait, which aromas are highlighted after a while and last for a long time. After tasting it there is a long-lasting metallicity(as a result of Xinomavro), with a diffuse mineral and an amazing feeling a saltness.

Malagousia
Malagousia is an aromatic white variety grown primarily in Central Greece and Greek Macedonia. The variety was rescued from near extinction in 1983 by the winemaker Evangelos Gerovassiliou, after he planted out his vineyard at Epanomi, on the Halkidiki peninsula, with the variety.
Malagousia is best known for its citrus and peach characteristics, often showing various melon flavours on the palate. It is often used as a blending agent, most notably with Assyrtiko, to which it adds middle body weight.

Producer

Kamara
Dedicated to the ecological philosophy, Kioutsoukis Family use exclusively organic methods and principles of biodynamic farming to produce wines from indigenous and international grape varieties. The low hillside with its microclimate, including a refreshing northern wind that is present all year round and the different types of soil, provide adequate a diversity that allows for different blends and styles of wine to be produced. Using modern wine-making equipment, only to monitor and support the natural course of the wine-making process, they create wines that express the terroir without lowering the quality standards.
