Grape
Mandilaria
Mandilaria is a red Greek wine grape variety that is grown throughout the Greek Isles. The grape is often used as a blending component, producing deeply colored wines that are light bodied. Mandilaria grapes have thick skins full of polyphenols, notably tannins which are responsible for the wines' drying, grippy texture, as well as anthocyanins which account for their deep coloration.
